Mary Ann Sperry, 80, of Warren, PA, died Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice Residence in Warren, PA.
Born on November 20, 1936 in Corry, PA, she was the daughter of the late Earl H. Sperry, Jr., and Margaret M. Shields Sperry.
Mary was a 1955 graduate of Warren High School. She was employed for 39 years with New Process Co. in Warren, PA, retiring in 1995 as supervisor of data processing. She was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church. Mary enjoyed going to the casino and was an avid reader in her later years. She was a loving sister and aunt and loved her animals. She especially enjoyed feeding the birds.
Mary is survived by her sister, Theresa Massa of Warren, PA; her brother, Kenneth (Joyce) Sperry, of Youngsville, PA, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by 3 brothers – Earl H. Sperry, Jr., George Sperry and Philip Sperry.
There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, PA, with Fr. Richard Tomasone, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Youngsville Cemetery.
