Marjorie A. Edwards Bidwell, 73, of Warren, PA., died Monday September 26, 2022, at her residence with her family at her side.
She was born in Colver, PA., to the late Clyde and Rosella Nelen Edwards. She was a Warren area resident most of her life. She and her husband lived in Flemington, N.J. for 15 years, where she was employed as a nanny, caring for three young children that she loved as her own Rahim, Yasin, and Shahin Damji. Marjorie was employed with the Warren Dialysis Unit at Warren General Hospital for 15 years, as a Medical Technician retiring in 2014. She was a member of King David V.F.W. #1132 of Kane, PA., and the Warren American Legion Post 135 Ladies Auxiliary. Marjorie is known for her great love of her family, especially enjoying her favorite holiday of spending Thanksgiving Dinners at her house.
She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Silvis (Willie), her granddaughter, Emily Dehner (Jared) all of James City, PA., 3 Stepchildren – Kim, Kevin, and Amanda, 2 Brothers – Randy Edwards of Warren, PA., Rick Edwards of Baltimore, MD., 1 Sister – Kathy Satterlee of Franklin, PA., 8 Step Grandchildren, 7 Step Great Grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Bidwell whom she married June 29, 1991, in Warren, PA., who died in August of 2007, 1 Son – Greg Hancox, 1 Stepson- Master Sargent, Jared Timothy Bidwell, 1 Sister – Linda Russell and Marjorie’s companion, Vince.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Thursday September 29, 2022, from 4 to 6 P.M. and one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday September 30, 2022, at 12:00 pm, with Rev. Dr. Dale Haight, officiating. Interment will be in Weiler Cemetery, Warren, PA, where Marjorie will be laid to rest next to her husband.
