M. Lenore Zwald, 85, a resident of Canterbury Court, Warren, PA died Sunday, April 27, 2014 at her home following a brief illness.
Born on March 12, 1929 in Ridgway, PA she was the daughter of the late Harry and Abby Jefferson Rhines. A long-time resident of Warren, Lenore was formerly employed with the Office of Aging and Home Health Care. She was a faithful member of the Warren Full Gospel Church where she served as secretary and treasurer. Lenore had also been President of the Warren chapter of Aglow International. She was a voracious reader and took her faith very seriously.
Surviving are two children, Steven Zwald and his wife, Marlene, of Warren, PA and Debra Webster and her husband, George, of Indianapolis, IN, seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one sister, Myrna Stover of Manchester, PA and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John A. “Jack” Zwald, Jr., whom she married on April 7, 1947 and who passed away on August 3, 1979, one sister, Blanche Johnson and two brothers, Thomas and Richard Rhines.
Friends may call from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 30 with Loretta Knapp, Pastor of the Warren Full Gospel Church, officiating.
