Now reunited with her husband, Pietro, who died 3 months ago, both are in heaven to celebrate her 90th birthday that was only two days away. Born August 25, 1930, in Cassano Irpino, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Paolo and Carolina (De Coro) Maiorana.

A resident of Warren for 53 years, she was employed at the former Levinson Brothers Department Store as a seamstress and at the former Blair Corporation in the Mailing Folding Dept office, from which she retired. Throughout her life, Luisa’s constant and greatest dedication was to her beloved immediate and extended family. She enjoyed reading, hidden word games, jigsaw puzzles and recounting precious family stories due to her keen memory.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Pietro “Pete” Bevacqua, whom she married on March 11, 1954, and who died on May 15, 2020, and 4 brothers: Bartolomeo, Filippo, Francesco Maiorana and Gennaro Majorana, all of Italy.
