It was a huge privilege to get to know Mrs. Stanton. I loved to listen to her stories just as much as she loved to listen to mine, and I always ended my night feeling that I had had a pleasant visit with a very good friend. I will miss her terribly. My condolences to her you all.
We are so very sorry to hear of Aunt Louise’s passing. We have so many fond memories of her, from the wonderful smells coming from her kitchen to her living room overflowing with all those wonderful ferns and plants. We know that she is in a much better place, dancing and singing and praising God with the angels, but she will be missed here on earth by her family and friends. We wish we could be with you at this time but Karen just had foot surgery and is not allowed to walk. God bless you and keep you at this time. Love, Tom and Karen
Hi, I am so sorry to hear of Louise’s passing She and I have been friends since North Warren Grade School. She lived just a short walk from me. Her birthday was Sept. 5, 1927 and mine is Sept. 6, 1927 so we always exchanged phone calls on our birthdays. She has been on my mind a lot lately so maybe that was telling me she wasn’t well. She was a great person and homemaker. We each raised four lively sons, which kept us busy keeping them fed, etc., Love, Lorraine
I can’t remember not knowing and admiring Louise, but do remember as a child being impressed with what a true lady she was. We exchanged cards and phone calls in recent years, and it was a pleasure to realize my memories were exactly right – such a classy lady! She’ll be greatly missed. My condolences to the family.
