Lorraine (Chris) Olson concluded her long goodbye on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at The Rouse Home in Youngsville, PA. Born on July 17, 1929 in Toronto, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Vi Bell Chambers Christenson. Lorraine grew up in Kane, PA, and graduated from Kane Area High School in 1947. After graduation she worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone. On October 29, 1949, Lorraine married the love of her life, Carlton Olson, who preceded her in death on July 22, 2014. Together they raised their five children in Ludlow, PA. Lorraine is survived by her 2 Sons – Jeff Olson of Ludlow, PA, and Steve Olson and his wife, Lisa, of Grant, MN; 2 Daughters – Carla Morse of Youngsville, PA, and Lauren O. Ahlgren and her husband, Rick, of Irvine, PA; 9 Grandchildren – Joe and Rian Chiaravalloti, Nikole Young, Amanda Roberts, Mark Isenhour, Brad DiPenti, Luke Olson, Kristin Cook, and Travis Ahlgren; and 14 Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Lorraine was preceded in death by her Step-mother – Lillian Christenson; her Daughter – Cheri Isenhour; her Grandson – Michael Isenhour; and her Brother – Jack Christenson, all of whom will greet her in a dementia-free Heaven.
A private interment will be in Gibbs Hill Cemetery, Ludlow, PA.
