Lois M. Lendvay, 77, of Youngsville, PA, formerly of Scandia, PA, died on Monday July 15, 2024, in Warren General Hospital.
She was born in Bradford, PA, on March 18, 1947, the daughter of the late Clayton N. and Harriet A. (Gardner) Hansen. She was a nurse’s aide with many local establishments in Warren County, then was a bartender for Hog Haven. Lois enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with her family and friends. She volunteered with the ladies’ auxiliary with the Scandia Volunteer Fire Department. She was also a member of the Warren American Legion and was the Queen of Hog Haven.
Lois was married to Emil P. Lendvay, who passed in 1994.
She is survived by her loving children, Laurie P. Stallings, Rudy Manelick of Youngsville, Maryanna Snyder, Larry Westfall of Warren, and Tammy L. Clark and Jesse Dinkins of Youngsville; grandchildren, Erin, Dustin, and Nicholas Patz, Randy, Jessica, and Pauline Snyder, Crystal Tomson, and Ricky Patz; 26 Great Grandchildren; niece, Charity Hansen and Buddy Greggs of Tennessee; siblings, Clayton W. Hansen and wife, Elaine of Tennessee, Elizabeth D. Rader and husband, Tom of Flordia, Cindy Napolitan of Colorado, Wendy Rose of South Carolina, and Lindy Hansen of Tennessee; and many honorary children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Emil.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc. 304 East St. Warren, on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Dale Haight, pastor, officiating. Burial will be private in Corydon Riverview Cemetery.
