Linda L. Howard, 81, of Russell, Pa, formerly of Neiltown, Pa, died on Saturday November 23, 2024, in St. Vincent Hospital, Erie, Pa.

She was born in Pleasantville, on December 21, 1942, the daughter of the late Maxwell and Eva (Stone) Dunham. Linda was a graduate of West Forest High School and attended nursing school in Oil City. In 1977, Linda received her LPN Certificate from the Warren State Hospital. She continued working many years as an LPN and worked as a Pharmacy Technician in New Jersey for a few years. Linda made her home in Russell, Pa, and enjoyed painting, camping, reading, canoeing, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was a member of Sweet Adelines, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Falconer American Legion Post 638.

In 1987, Linda was married to Geoff Howard in the Interfaith Chapel at the Warren State Hospital.

Linda is survived by her loving children, Lisa White and husband Randy of Sugar Grove, David Whitten of Russell, Robin Fleming of Youngsville, and Mark Whitten of Mahaffey, Pa; six grandchildren, Greta Stoner, James Fleming and wife Leslie, Dylan Fleming, Matt Sluberski and wife Cristie, Kyle Whitten and wife Allie, and Raymond Sluberski; six great grandchildren, Bradin and Mason Fleming, Jameson Whitten, Paisley and Lawson Sluberski, and Waylon Ellsworth

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Geoff, and 3 siblings, Marion Morgan, Evelyn Burt, and Richard “Dick” Dunham.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc., 304 East St. Warren, Pa, on Tuesday November 26, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
