Linda D. Johnson, 74, of Warren, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, in The Rouse Estate, Youngsville, of complications from dementia.
She was born on August 6, 1948, in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of the late Leonard and Elaine Chiodo Johnson. Linda was a 1966 graduate of Warren Area High School. She was employed for 37 years with McFadden Ford, now Ed Shults Ford, of Jamestown, NY., where she worked in accounting and as a cashier. Linda was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church in Warren, PA. Linda volunteered at St. Joseph’s Soup Kitchen and the annual rummage sale. She also volunteered at the Warren Manor.
Linda is survived by her brother Mark Johnson and wife Lynda of Warren; her sister Beverly Check of Lebanon, OH; one nephew Ben Check and wife Buffy of Warren, PA; one niece Lisa Gellner and husband Matt of West Chester, Ohio; three great nephews Dylan, Isaac, and Jacob Gellner; step-nephew Jason O’Neil and step-niece Jori O’Neil and many cousins.
Friends may call the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc., 304 East St. Warren, PA on Sunday March 12, 2023, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday March 13, 2023, at 10:00 am in St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Ave. West, Warren, PA with the Rev. Richard Tomasone pastor, officiating. My condolences to the family. Linda and I worked together at the Tribal Room in Lakewood and were good friends. We always had a wonderful time and she was an amazing generous and warm person. Heaven received another angel.
So sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. I hold fond memories of working at McFadden Ford with in the 70’s and 80’s. She always had a smile and was a pleasant person with all the employees and customers. She will be sadly missed
