Lawrence A. Nuhfer, 79, Irvine, PA., died Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Warren Manor Nursing Home. He was born September 11, 1939 in Warren, PA., to the late William and Katherine Mansfield Nuhfer, Sr. Larry was a lifelong Warren area resident. He was a graduate of Warren High School and had served with the U.S. Army. Larry was employed with the former National Forge Company retiring from there in June 2002 after many years employment.
Larry enjoyed watching old television shows with his dog, Piper.
He also enjoyed attending auctions at the Warren County Fair Grounds.
He is survived by his daughter, Betty K. Nuhfer of Irvine, PA.,
1 Brother – Phillip Nuhfer, of Warren, PA., 1 Sister – Martha Laufferty of Lakewood, CA, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Laurette J. Pierce Nuhfer whom he married June 12, 1965 in Mt. Lebanon, PA., whom died February 27, 2002, 1 Son – Claude A. Nuhfer in 1974, 4 Brothers – William J. Nuhfer, Jr., Richard Nuhfer, Sr., Thomas Nuhfer and Michael Nuhfer, 2 Sisters – Delores Anthony and Theresa Sanden.

I went to school with larry and we were best friends. I stayed with him and his family when they lived on the river. we went in the army together and went through boot together. the last time we seen each other was at a class reunion truly sorry for your lose my name is alvin stevenson and i have been in georgia for about 20years
