Laura Cosmano Albaugh, 86, of Warren, PA., died Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Warren Manor Nursing Home, Warren, PA., after a brief illness. She was born April 1, 1934 in Warren, Pa. Laura was the daughter of Samuel and Prudence Guiffre Cosmano. Laura was a longtime Warren area resident most of her life and resided in Pittsfield, PA. for 22 years. She was a 1952 graduate of Warren High School and was formerly employed with the former Warren National Bank. Laura was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church and a former member of St. Luke R.C. Church, Youngsville, PA.

She was an avid bowler, Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She was an avid supporter of any local sport, especially if her grandchildren were involved in the sport. Laura volunteered for 18 years at the Warren General Hospital Auxiliary. She was a member of the Gals of 52, and the Red Hat Society. Laura was a lover of her friends and family, they were the focus of her life.

Laura is survived by her son, Jeffrey R. Albaugh and wife, Michele of Warren, PA., 6 Grandchildren – Scott Hollabaugh and wife, Sharon of Pittsburgh, PA. whom she raised, Kelly Albaugh Pytlarz and husband, Jon of Youngsville, PA. and Kristie Morse and husband, Bob of Clarendon, PA., Nicholas Hollabugh and his wife, Erica of Pittsburgh, PA., whom she raised, and Dominica Schwanke and husband, Wesley of Warren, PA., and Olivia Luzzi and fiancé, Robert Barrett of Chambersburg, PA., 8 Great Grandchildren – Dylan Sorensen, Lucas Gordon Sorensen, Samuel Jeffrey Sorensen, Gia Lee and Easton Hollabugh, Lilian and Teagan Hollabaugh, Rowan Schwanke. Sister-in-law, Donna Thomas and husband, Jerry, Brother-in-law – Ronald Albaugh and wife, Virginia all of Clarendon, PA., several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Lee Albaugh whom she married December 17, 1955 at Holy Redeemer Church, Warren, PA., who died November 10, 2004, her daughter, Toni Albaugh Hollabaugh, 2 Brothers – Anthony and Stephen Cosmano, longtime companion, Coco, her beloved Shitzu, gone but not forgotten.

Friends may call at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, PA., on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. with Fr. Richard Tomasone, Pastor, officiating. CDC guidelines of social distancing and masks are required. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of the Ascension in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
