I’m very sad to learn of her passing and of her long illness. My condolences to her entire family. I didn’t know her very well but her senior picture with the black velvet off the shoulder wrap all of us WAHS ladies seemed to pose in with a pearl necklace inspired me to wear a chunky multi strand of Talbot’s pearl costume jewelry in my senior photo. She never knew that I’m sure since I was behind her in school (’94). It’s a little odd for me to say this but she obviously had style and was a lovely person inside and out. I am so sorry that anorexia plagued her. It’s a horrible disease.
Toby, Sue, Jen, Tobin and family,
I can’t express my sorrow in words. I choose to remember Kathleen as the beautiful, young, spirited, funny, outspoken girl who came across the yard and wiggled her way into the hearts of the Walker family. She always made us smile. I’ll always think of her that way. She struggled so long with the terrible disease that took her life. I know that now she is home, at peace, and soaring with the angels. My deepest sympathy and love…Diane

To the Shea family,
Kathleen was one of my best friends when she lived in San Diego. She was such a beautiful and kind soul. I miss her everyday. Shortly after she moved back home I did the same thing and she came to visit me in Indiana. I will always cherish my memories with her as we had so many good times as well as hard times together. Kathleen was the most uplifting and wonderful friend I have every had, always accepting people for who they are. I am so very sorry for your loss but I know she suffered very much and I believe she is finally at peace. I wish so badly she could have met my sons. It breaks my heart to know I’ll never be able to reunite with her in my lifetime.
Dear Shea Family,
I knew Kathleen in Hollywood. We all adored her. I cannot express how sad i am to hear this news today. I send my love and prayers.

Glenda B.
Mr. & Mrs. Shea, I am deeply saddened at the news of Kathleen’s passing. Just this week I found myself rummaging through old address books to find your phone number so I could find her to say hello. We did a good job for several years staying in touch, but lost touch a few years ago. She was a beautiful person…& I feel lucky to have had her as a friend. My heart is heavy…my prayers & thoughts are with you. Frank Troutman

I just found out yesterday about Kathy’s passing . I loved her like a sister for many years she was one of my closest friends and went everywhere with me to all my family events they too thought of her as family. I don’ t remember why or how we lost contact but I think of her and have often searched for her on Facebook hoping to see her beautiful face.
