Julie L. Brown, of Warren, PA., passed away at peace, Monday, June 21, 2021, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Clyde J. and Bettie L. Williams Brown. Julie had 2 brothers, James M. Brown and David A. Brown, and 3 nephews, James L. Brown, Christopher J. Brown and Matthew A. Brown. She is also survived by Jeffrey R. Billman who was always a son to her, and her best friend for many years, Cheryl A. Wilson. Cheryl was an inspiration to her in many different ways; spiritual and mentally. She was employed at Blair/Bluestem starting in March of 1978 and retiring in 2021. She worked in many different departments through the years and ended her time in Customer Service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Bettie in 2012, her fiance’ and companion, Robert M. Billman in 2008 and nephew Logan C. Brown in 2015.
Julie will be remembered as a devoted friend. She served as Vice President on the board of directors for the Warren Women’s Bowling Association for 20 plus years. She enjoyed working with her hands, camping, and enjoyed the outdoors. In her free time, you could find her at home baking and giving it away to her friends and co-workers. Most of all, she enjoyed good humor.
Julie has requested no visitation and no memorial service.

We are so very sorry to learn of Julie’s passing. She will be remembered as a devoted daughter, a caring sister, and a good person, who always seemed to focus on others and made everyone feel that she was happy to see them. We wish you comfort in happy memories of her.
Julie always had a smile and a laugh that would make you laugh even when you weren’t feeling like laughing. She was the best baker especially her pies. She’ll be missed by many.

I grew up with Julie on Park St. We had many memorable times as kids and adults. Gone to soon old friend. RIP. Condolences to all her family.
How very sad to read this in the paper! I knew Julie in High School and also at the New Process Company / Blair Corporation. She did have that contagious laugh and I too will remember her as “ Downtown Julie Brown”! Also very sad that she didn’t get to enjoy her retirement after 43 years. Hugs to all her family. I will always remember Julie with laughter on her lips and a big smile. She always had a hand out to someone who needed it. I can’t believe the world won’t hear her laughter any longer. I know she’s singing with the angels and will no doubt keep them busy with her jokes! She will be missed by so many!
