Sorry for your lost. Praying for your family
Prayers for your family. Your mom was such a nice lady. Will miss her
Will miss you mother a lot. Talked to her almost every Monday night
I had the pleasure of taking care of Clare when he was at The Warren Manor, many years ago. I also was able to care for Julana at the Rouse Home a couple of years before she passed. They were a beautiful couple. Love like that doesn’t happen often. The commitment that they had for each other was beautiful. So sorry for your loss. I’m sure Clare met her with open arms. Deepest sympathy for the family.
Julie was a kind, lovely lady. I always enjoyed having a conversation with her. Deepest sympathy to her family and close friends. She will be missed by so many!
Sorry for your loss. Your mom was my 4th grade teacher at Allegheny Valley. She was a wonderful lady and teacher!!
Rest In Peace Mrs. Hanson, Thank you for being my support system as a young boy, buying me my first large print book, getting me to go to all those grueling physical therapy sessions even though I didn’t want too. Much love to you always my favorite 4th grade teacher.
I have loved Julie for more than 50 years and will miss my Other Mother forever. The great memories are many, all of them filled with laughter and Julie’s shining wit. So many goodtimes… on boats, on trips, in the kitchen making swedish delicacies. Best friend to my Mom (Jane), “Mama Bear” to me and my girls. I’ll miss it all. Rest in peace Julie. You’re forever in my heart. Love you. Please give Papa Bear a hug for me… and one for Mom if you see her.
Hugs from “Girl Kid”
We had the pleasure of working with your Mom at Allegheny Valley Elementary School for many years. She greeted her students and colleagues each day with her beautiful smile and was always warmhearted, helpful, and kind to all!
We certainly will miss your Mom! Our favorite sayings as she would remind us were “don’t sweat the small stuff!” and an “ignorant mom is a happy mom!” Our visits and phone calls were filled with laughter!
To you and your family accept our condolences! It was a joy to have known Julie!
Such a beautiful soul. How she made us, her students, feel loved and welcomed has stayed with us through the years. Her ability to recall my name- decades after the 4th grade (and my siblings) amazed me. She was truly a teacher – beyond the classroom.
Your mom was a great woman. I had her for an art teacher in elementary school. Sending prayers for your family.
Mrs Hanson was my favorite teacher for 3rd and 4 th grade back at Clarendon in the 50’s. I remember one Christmas she took the girls from class to her house to make Christmas cookies. She was a wonderful person.

Julie was a second mother to many and a kindhearted person. She had an important impact on several of us who are close to Bill, Sue, Chris, and Linda throughout our school years and up to the present. We remember her and Bill senior boating on the Kinzua Dam, at Hanson’s Ski and Hardware store, and at home cooking. She will be missed. Doug Allen
