Juanita J. Shaffer, 66, of Clarendon, PA, died Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Warren General Hospital. Born on May 25, 1950 she was the daughter of the late Lloyd C. and Norma J. Knepp Bittner. She was married to Robert V. Shaffer, Jr., who survives.

Juanita was a 1969 graduate of Warren Area High School and had been employed at Loranger’s and later for IMT for 35+ years, retiring in 2012. She was a member of the Clarendon Vets Club. Juanita enjoyed dancing and cooking and especially loved taking care of her family and her animals.

Juanita is survived by her 2 sons – Patrick Shaffer and his wife, Barbara, of Warren, PA, and Robert V. Shaffer, III, of Clarendon, PA, 2 grandchildren – Patrick Shaffer, Jr., and Haili Minugh, 1 great-grandson – Lincoln Nelson, 1 sister – Tennetta Buonocore and her husband, Dennis, of Stanfordville, NY, 1 niece and 1 nephew. She is also survived by a former daughter-in-law, Sonya Irons and grandson, Eric, of Youngsville, PA. In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by a brother – Lloyd “Buddy” Bittner, Jr.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA, on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 4-7PM at which time funeral and committal services will be held with Rev.
