Joyce Willman Imperial, 86, of Warren, Pa. died Tuesday morning, December 19, 2017 at U.P.M.C. Hamot, Erie, PA., after a brief illness. She was born March 21, 1931 in Kane Pa. to the late Francis and Dorothy Buhl Willman. She has resided in Warren since 1949. She attended the former Hoff Business College. Joyce was employed with the Warren General Hospital retiring from there in 1996 after 15 years employment and had previously worked with the former Warren Travel for 10 years. She was an avid quilter, member of the Warren Senior Center. Joyce was a very family oriented person, who loved spending time with many close friends and neighbors. She was also an avid gardener and loved to cook.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 66 years, John J. Imperial whom she married June 2, 1951 in Warren, Pa., 3 Daughters – Susan Haskins and husband, James of Russell, Pa., Debbie Heenen of Warren, Pa., Nancy Uber and husband, Dale of Warren, Pa., 2 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Brothers – Tony, John and Ronald Willman. A private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of the Ascension in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery. Those wishing to place memorials may do so through Paws Along The River, 212 Elm Street, Warren, PA., 16365. Sue, Debbie and Nancy..I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. I have a lot of great memories growing up and hanging out at your home on Frank St. Hooktown was a terrific place to grow up in! Your Mom always went out of her way to come and say hello to me at work. She was a great lady!!
