John F. Schultz, 72, of Warren, PA, died on Saturday morning, October 5, 2024, at Warren General Hospital, after an extended illness.
John was born in Titusville, PA, the son of the late Frederick and Bernadette Berry Schultz. He was a graduate of Warren Area High School Class of 1970. John was employed with the former National Forge Company, and retired from Ellwood National Forge, after 46 years of service as Manager of Production Planning. He enjoyed boating, camping, bird watching, gardening, holidays, and time spent with his family and friends. John was of the Catholic faith. On August 26, 1972, in Warren, he married the former Valerie L. Nelson, they spent 52 loving years together.
In addition to his loving wife, Valerie, John is survived by his two loving children, Matthew C. Schultz, and Cole M. Schultz and wife Maria all of Warren; two grandchildren, Julia and Alex Schultz; one sister, Jane Schultz of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Charmaine Stio.

John and I were friends at Beatty and WAHS. We did meet again at our 50th+1 Reunion and enjoyed reconnecting after many years. Please accept my sincere condolences. John was always one of the good guys and I know he will be me missed by many!

John always brought a certain light hearted feeling to any occasion or conversation. One of the smartest guys I’ve ever known. Whenever I think of him I smile, and that won’t change.
