Godspeed Aunt Joanne! ✨ Thanks for shining your light for us while you were here. Cheri and Deb said it, you were always a happy place in the Massa constellation and only the fondest memories of your smiling nature remain. And for Toni Jo, Michelle, Butchie, Peter, Renee and Anne comes my wish for comfort and understanding for you and your families as you navigate these tender days without her. Truly, for all of us cousins the passing of our elders is both sad and sweet – sad that those days of family gatherings and the carefreeness of our lives then are no longer and sweet for the memories of that amazing generation that live on in our hearts. So much love and tenderness for you all from cousin Rusty & Shelley (& Raleigh too )
I was so blessed when I met Anne because that led me to her wonderful family. It was always amazing at gatherings to see you enjoying each other’s company. MY daughters, Lisa, Dina and Kira, and I have so many fond memories of your Mom and your entire family. All of those wonderful family get-togethers! Your Mom was such a kind, sweet, loving person, and she will most certainly missed by everyone who knew her.
I only just became to know Joanne in the last years of my mother’s life. My mother enjoyed their weekly bridge games and I appreciated Joanne’s cards and calls to my mother when she was in my care. Joanne was a very big-hearted and kind friend. She always brought happiness into our home. My loving care to your family as you say good-bye to Joanne. Her love and light continues.
Thank you everyone for your kind words and loving thoughts of our Mom. She certainly was a special woman.
