Jennifer K. Bishop, 40, of Warren, PA, died at her home on Monday, June 28, 2021.
Born on September 24, 1980, she was the daughter of Charlie Sitterson and Joan Schmader Shattuck. Jennifer was a 1998 graduate of Warren Area High School and had worked in home health care and as a personal aide. She enjoyed painting, art, and spending time with her family, especially her husband and daughter.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Jerome Bishop, whom she married on November 21, 2014; her daughter, Nya Jade Bishop; her mother, Joan Shattuck of Warren, PA; her father, Charlie Sitterson of Warren, PA; her sister, Kimberly (Aaron Gage) Sitterson of Warren, PA; her maternal grandmother, Josephine Schmader of Warren, PA; her paternal grandparents, Jim and Mariea Bunn of Jacksonville, FL; her in-laws, Olga King of Akron, OH and Jerome Bishop of Erie, PA, and Geneva King of Erie, PA; 2 nieces, Ada Gage and Nora Gage; and several aunts, uncles, and many cousins. Jennifer was preceded in death by her stepfather, Dean Shattuck.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East St., Warren, PA. E-mail condolences may be sent by visiting www.lewisfuneralhomeinc.com.

Joan and Charlie, I am so saddened by this. My heart goes out to you. My fondest memory of Jennifer is when she was about 3 yrs old sitting in her car seat singing ‘Hungry Like the Wolf’ at the top of her lungs. What a hilarious fun memory for us. I’m thinking of you and praying for you and all of your family to find peace.

I am so sorry to hear about Jennifer. She was always such a wonderful person to be around. Always quick with comebacks and such a good sense of humor. Over the years we lost touch but she was such a good friend to me years ago. She will be so missed. Prayers for you all as you deal with this loss.
Jennifer you will be missed by all.! You were a true, good friend for many, many years! You were the first person I met at Beaty Middle School in 5th grade [1990] when I moved to Warren from Erie, and we’ve been friends since!
