Jennie M. Pompilio, 94, of Warren, PA, died Friday, March 30, 2018, at Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Warren, PA.

Born on November 9, 1923 in Endeavor, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Congleme Farone. Jennie was employed as a nurse’s aid at Warren General Hospital during World War II. She later worked for GTE Sylvania and at Ideal Bakery for several years. She also helped as office manager with her husband at his shop, Jim’s TV and Radio Repair Shop. She was last employed as a cake decorator at Comet Market. Jennie was a member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church in Warren and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, canning, and her flower gardens.

Jennie is survived by her 2 sons – James F. Pompilio and his wife, Linda, of Lander, PA, and Philip A. Pompilio and his wife, Lavonne, of Sugar Grove, PA; 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jennie was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Pompilio, whom she married on October 16, 1946 in Warren, PA, and who died on April 6, 2011; and 2 brothers – Leo and Sam Farone.

Friends may call at Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, 11 Russell Street, Warren, PA, on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Fr. Richard Tomasone, Pastor of St. Joseph R.C. Church, officiating, assisted by Deacon Joseph Lucia. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
