James A. Logren, age 79, of Warren, PA and formerly of Youngsville, PA died Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the Warren Manor following a brief illness. James was born October 8, 1940 to the late John A. and Eliza Rounds Logren. James entered the United States Army after his schooling and was a steelworker for Inter Royal Deluxe Metal for 33 years until his retirement. He had also worked for Whirley Industries, Pelegrino Foods and Betts Industries. He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and a lifetime member of American Legion Post 135. James enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. He loved spending time with his family and would glow when it came to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
James is survived by his wife, Elizabeth R. Suppa Logren, whom he married in 1966 in Warren, PA; 2 sons, James Logren, Jr. and wife Kate and Joseph Logren; 1 daughter, Barbara Anthony; 4 sisters, Martha Irene Boroughs and husband George, Anne Harkins and husband Jim, Eva Hoffman and husband Gary, and Mary Battko and husband Bill; 1 brother, Clarence “Bucky” Bucchanan and wife, Peggy; 8 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, all of Warren, PA.
James was preceded in death by his parents.
