Helen M. Bailey, 90, of Warren, PA, passed away at her home on Saturday evening, January 9, 2021 after a brief illness.
Born on July 8, 1930 in Warren, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Florence Hathaway.
Helen was a lifelong resident of Warren and was a 1948 graduate of Warren High School. She was formerly employed as a clerk with Levinson Brothers. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling, and golfing at Jackson Valley Golf Club. She also enjoyed watching motocross racing.
Helen is survived by her 3 children – Cindy Retterer and husband, Allen, and Lance and Kevin Bailey, all of Warren, PA; 5 grandchildren – Jordan, Tyler and Casey Retterer, and Emily and Garrett Bailey; 1 great granddaughter – Poppy Retterer, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Bailey, whom she married on March 7, 1953 in Warren, PA, and who died on July 30, 2011; and 3 sisters – Anne Moll, Phyllis Kelsey, and Ruth Cromwell.
