Hello Susan, Philip, Christian and Becky,
I am sorry to hear about the death of your father and your father-in-law. Coincidentally, my mom died on Saturday (Nov. 13th) and is the obituary listed immediately before his on this site. My prayers go out to you as you walk the road I am also walking on. I hope you can focus on the wonderful memories of your father and father-in-law and that they help to dry your tears and make you smile!
I have been living in Warren with my parents since February and helping my dad care for my mom. I plan to be here until at least early January. If you are in Warren visiting sometime before then, please let me know. It would be great to catch up with you again. It has been many years since we have seen each other!

Phillip and Becky, Susan and Christian,
Bob was one of a kind! We loved every moment we had with him and, of course, your mom before she passed. We could not have asked for better neighbors. We always made it a point to look up Bob when we visited Warren and we always enjoyed sharing memories (he especially liked the Christmas snow bunny we built in the front yard years ago!). He’ll be terribly missed and the community has lost a wonderful servant. We are saddened for your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Phil, Susan and families, Our sincere sympathy if loss of your wonderful father, father-in–law and grandfather, Your Dad was an example of a Warren citizen, in all his activities. He never forgot your name, once he met you. Loved all of you so much and kept track of your activities. Just told Jack a couple of weeks ago he was thinking of retiring. He had a good life right to the end. He will be missed.
Bob helped me when my father passed away. The nicest memory I have of Bob was seeing him walking in town one snowy winter day. He told me to go over to the river so I could see a flock of tundra swans. I think there were about 200 of them, and with the heavy snow in the air, it was one of the prettiest sights I have ever seen! I’m so sorry for your loss. Bob touched many people in positive ways.
Peggy and I were so sad to hear the news about your Dad. We’ll miss seeing that warm smile and friendly greeting when we would see him around town over the years. He and I started our law practices the same year, he with his father on the fourth floor and I with Pete Eaton and Bill Hill on the third floor of Warren National Bank so I have always felt a bond. He was well respected in his profession for his skill and his ethics and you have a father and grandfather of whom you can be very proud.
Phil, Becky, Callie, Ben
My sympathies are with you and your family. Your dad was my parent’s attorney and helped us very much when my father passed away. Your dad also graduated with my mother and I heard many tales from her of things that her classmates did. He was a great asset to the YMCA and will be missed by many
My wife, Elizabeth Feronti, and I extend our condolences to your family. I practiced law with Bob for over 25 years and I always enjoyed any interaction that I had with him and Mary Ann. Bob was a true gentleman of the profession and he will be missed. He was a fixture in the legal community and his passing is the end of an era for those of us in the Warren County Bar Association who knew him.
Our family extends our heartfelt condolences to you. It was a pleasure knowing Bob these many years. What a kind and gracious man. May your memories be a comfort to you all.
So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing, I was hoping on getting to see him again, but I guess it was not to be, things don’t usually happen the way we would like them to occur.
Hope all is well with the Hampton clan, and will pray for you.
Phillip & Susan – so sorry to hear of your loss. Your Mom and Dad were the best to babysit for and you two were lots of fun. As Rick said, being neighbors with your parents was great for both families! We did have a lot of fun in that house and many memories with our neighbors. Snow men, haunted house, baseball in the backyard and down at the playground. Folks like your parents made Warren a special place for all of us! I wish you the best and good health!
So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing, I was hoping on getting to see him again, but I guess it was not to be, things don’t usually happen the way we would like them to occur.
Hope all is well with the Hampton clan, and I will pray that your future is one of health and happiness.
I was very sorry to hear of Mr. Hampson’s passing. He acted as my parents lawyer on many occasions. When they passed, I went to Mr. Hampson to settle their estate. He was such a kind and compassionate man. We enjoyed several long talks about our families and travels. He is certainly a prime example of “a life well lived.” My condolences to his family and to Mary Ann.
So sorry to hear of Mr. Hampson’s passing. Phil and Susan you are in my thoughts and prayers. Mr. Hampson was a great man and I always enjoyed his enthusiasm for Duke basketball and listening to Jazz music. A great community man.
Memories of many great times in our Neighborhood and at your Family camp with you and your family. Very hard to think that now all our Parents have passed. Great memories though from all of them. They all created a great childhood in Warren for us.
Thoughts and prayers to you all in these times.
