Dear Sara Mae, Paul and Vivian, Pam and Joe,
I just heard from Paula and Cindy about your loss and immediately felt the sadness of having personally lost a member of my family, a friend and a great man. I’m remembering how much I enjoyed talking with and enjoying being in Gib”s presence. He had a way of putting you at ease because of his honest, open and easy going way of living life. I admired him for the loving family man he was and his ease at showing the love he had for all close to him. Gib leaves me with memories of special times we all shared together and a vision of a smile and a laugh you could actually see in his eyes. God bless and take care. Hope to see you soon. Love, Don Fleming and Family
Dear Sara Mae,
We were very sad to read about Gib. He was a good man and a good friend. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Sara Mae and Family; You have our sympathy of the passing on of Gib. Gilbert was the biggest helper of the Broken Straw Valley working for the BVAA and Lawrence being the chairman for years. As class members of 1952 we have many memories. He will be missed by all the input he had on local matters.
We love you Grandpa! We were so blessed to have you as a Grandpa. You’ve taught our family patience and how to give and receive love. I’m with you and our family in thoughts and prayers.
We are so sorry to hear of Gib’s passing. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.
