So sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. I grew up in the First Baptist Church. Jerry and Elaine were great friends and Sunday school classmates to my parents Eleanor and Vance Ross. Debbie was in Sunday school class with me from very early childhood up to graduating from high school together. I have fond memories of each of the daughters.
Uncle Jerry was a special man… As a young boy, how wonderful it was to go up the attic stairs to see and be a part of the wonderful HO train layout! So special that his love of toys and putting smiles on the face of youth continued with his involvement in the Toy Shoppe of Warren- i wish i knew how many wooden toys he made over his lifetime… Be at peace… Love James
Thinking of Uncle Jerry again. He was a delight. From croquet to cribbage and trains to wooden toys he had an infectious smile for sure.
It was our privilege to call him Uncle.
