I was so sad to read of Fran’s passing in the Times Observer online. What a dear, wonderful lady she was! While i knew her at first as my Mom’s (Sally Bova Marino’s) friend from way back, I got to know Fran better in the context of St. Joe’s Choir and CCD program. She was such a dedicated servant, and a witness to her faith, always. Some of my favorite memories of Fran were of her at social functions at St. Joe’s, decades back. She seemed to always relish such events, her love of life always showing through, talking, laughing, dancing–she was a treasure, and her spirit was special, indeed. I pray she is dancing with the angels now, who are surely rejoicing that she is among them. My deepest sympathies go out to the entire family during this time of such profound loss. Wishing you God’s peace and love, and comfort in the many memories you share of your dear Mom.
Monty,
You and your family are in our hearts. Seeing your Mom dance made my heart smile.
She was a beautiful and gracious lady.
I see her dancing again.
Peace to you my friend.

As a member of holy redeemer church I had the pleasure of working with Fran in the late 80s as the county Catholic parishes established social concerns committees. She was an effervescent and dependable member and did so much more in her life to be a splendid model of a Christian. I was happy to know her.
My deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother.
Rest In Peace ☮️ I knew her as “Mrs.Culbertson” and she was my CCD teacher and then, my sponsor for Confirmation in 1989. Such a great lady! Sorry for your loss and God Bless!!
