Florence “Jerrie” Fosnight, 85, of Warren, PA, passed away Saturday morning, August 20, 2016 at the Golden LivingCenter-Kinzua in Warren, PA, with her daughters, Danette Head and Darice Stroup at her side.
Jerrie was born on November 16, 1930, the daughter of the late Joe and Florence Gnao Currie. She was a lifelong resident of Warren, PA and was a member of the Warren Senior Center. She enjoyed knitting and crafts, feeding the birds and loved her cats.
Jerrie is survived by 3 children – Darcy Durlin and his wife, Cheryl, of Corry, PA, Darice Stroup and her husband, Dennis, of Spring Creek, PA, and Danette Head and her husband, Jeff, of Warren, PA, 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 brother – Charles Church and his wife, Diane, of Bradford, PA, and several nieces and nephews. Jerrie was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Currie and Florence Schatzle, her husband, James Fosnight, Sr. who died in October 1995, 1 son – Darwin Durlin, who died on January 20, 2014, and most recently her former husband and friend, Carl Durlin, who died on January 12, 2016.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA, on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from Noon until 1:00 P.M. at which time a funeral service will be conducted with Rev. Mark Rusnak, Chaplain of AseraCare Hospice, officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, PA.
