Eric Paddock Jr., 87, of North Warren died May 25, 2014, at Golden Living Center-Kinzua.

Mr. Paddock was born June 30, 1926, in Jamestown, N.Y., a son of Lucille and Eric Paddock Sr. On May 27, 1951, he married Arlene Stull in Frederick, Md. She preceded him in death on June 22, 2008. A graduate of Clarion High School, Mr. Paddock served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corps, with service in Europe during World War II. Following his Army service and until his retirement, he was a civil engineer in the Baltimore, Md., area.

Surviving are his son, Eric Paddock III and his wife, Diana, of Warren; one granddaughter, Amy Paddock of Seneca; four step-granddaughters, Melissa Treacy of Eagleville, Allison Hodell of Louisa, Va., Hillary Anderson and Sabrina Anderson of Warren. He is also survived by Butch and Pat Stockman of Frederick.

Mr. Paddock was a life member of the Loyal Order of Moose and a charter member of Glen Burnie, Md., Lodge 2266 BPO Elks.

There will be no visitation. Private interment will take place in Mt. Olivett Cemetery in Frederick. Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Warren.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to Paws Along The River, the Warren County Humane Society, which provided him with companions that enriched his life.
