Ellen Kenny Lindell, 76, of Warren, PA., died Thursday, November 8, 2018 at her residence. She was born May 25, 1942 in Warren, PA. to the late Harold and Frances Predgo O’Connor Kenny. Ellen was a longtime Warren and Kane, PA., area resident. She was a 1960 graduate of Warren Area High School.
Ellen was employed with Gaughn’s Drugstore as a clerk for the past 9 years, she previously was owner/operator for 10 years, and store manager with the Country Fair and Uni mart stores.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church and the church choir, ladies of the Warren Moose Lodge 109. She is remembered for her positive attitude and strong faith in her life. She especially loved her customers at Gaughns.
Ellen is survived by her 3 children – Bonnie Hockins and husband, Tom of Lovingston, VA., Michelle “Shelley” Sanders of Kane, PA., Michael Robinson and wife, Jennifer of Treasure Lake, PA., 1 Sister – Jeanne Fernandez and husband, Danny of Stuart, FL., 9 Grandsons – Jeremy and Adam Hallberg, Thomas Hockins, Rick, Brad, Craig Sanders, Brandon and Seth Hartman, Gabriel Robinson, 3 Great Granddaughters – Mia Sanders, Kailey and Kolsyn Hallberg. Her companion and friend, her dog, Susie. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother – Howard Kenny, 1 Sister – Mary Eileen O’Conner.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, 11 Russell Street, Warren, PA. with Fr. James Gutting, Pastor, officiating. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of the Resurrection in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery. Those wishing to place memorials may do so through Holy Redeemer Church Building Center.
