Elizabeth Ann Simko, 82, of Warren, PA., died peacefully Wednesday evening, February 28, 2018. She was born March 24, 1935 in Sheffield, PA, daughter of the late Michael and Anna Budila Simko. Elizabeth was a lifelong Warren area resident and a 1953 graduate of Warren High School. She was employed as office manager at the local cable company, formerly Warner Cable, for 29 years and as a bookkeeper at the Conewango Valley Country Club for 13 years, retiring from there in 1996.
Elizabeth was a member of the Zonta Club of Warren and served as their president from 1980 to 1982. She was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, Sheffield, PA., and the church Rosary society where she served as treasurer.
After her retirement, she enjoyed volunteering for the American Cancer Society, Warren Public Library Association, and Struthers Library Theatre. Elizabeth especially loved spending time with friends, reading, music and traveling with her family and spending holidays together.
She loved shopping and always tried to keep up with the latest fashion trends.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Theresa Simko of Chagrin Falls, OH., 3 Nieces – Jennifer L. Simokaitis (Charles) of Chicago, IL., Melissa S. Sanders (Scott) of Moreland Hills, OH.,
Catherine S. Smith (Scott) of Cincinnati, OH., 4 Great Nieces – Faye, Lili, Rosalind, Margot, 1 Great Nephew – Henry, 1 Cousin- Ellen Peroski (Andrew) and their son, John of Sheffield, PA., In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother – David M. Simko.

A divine liturgy will be conducted Saturday, March 3, 2018 at St. Michael Byzantine Church, Church Street, Sheffield, PA, at 11:00 A.M. with Fr. David A. Bosnich, Pastor, officiating.
