Thank you so much, Evelyn.
To the McCarthy family. I am so so sorry to hear this news. My most sincere condolences go out to all of you. Growing up on Water St I believe there were years when I spent more time in your home than mine…happy happy times. I’ve been gone from Warren for almost 45 yrs but whenever I was in town visiting I somehow always seemed to run into your mom. She always remembered me and had time for a chat. Your mom was a treasure and she will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time.
Thank you, Linda. We have such wonderful memories of great neighbors on Water Street. We sincerely appreciate you sharing yours.
Sheila and Family,
Our hearts and comforting hugs are with you today. Your mom was a strong woman, and I was blessed to know her.
We bid farewell to Dorothy’s body but not her spirit.
We bid farewell to Dorothy’s mind but not her dreams.
We bid farewell to Dorothy’s voice but not her message.
We bid farewell to Dorothy’s heart but not her love. NEVER her love.
For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. Romans 14:8
Thank you Sandy and Vern. We sincerely appreciate your kindness.
A more charming, talented, sweet and caring person I never knew! Dottie was a member of Holy Redeemer church with me, did alterations for me and was always admired by me. I know she is basking in God’s PEACE.
Thank you so much for your kind words.
It is with great sadness that Tom and I extend our deepest sympathy to all of Dottie‘s family She was a very special lady and friend Dottie was our go to gal for all the alterations we needed over the past many years What a talent ! She will be missed by all of us who loved her
Thank you so much.
I had the pleasure of working with Dottie as one of the founding members of the One Book, One Warren County initiative. Her knowledge, initiative and contributions to this project was one of the major reasons for the success of this county-wide reading event. I also had the joy of seeing Dottie monthly at the Warren Public Library Book Group. She was such a valued member. I could go on and on about the generosity of this woman. She impacted the lives of members of the community in so many ways and she will be missed by many.
Thank you so very much for these kind words. Mom enjoyed reading so much. The Book Group at the library was a source of both friendship and learning for her.
