Dorothy M. “Dot” Kavinski Wykoff, 85, of Warren, PA died Thursday evening, December 12, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 17, 1928 in Warren, PA the daughter of the late Andrew and Theresa Kopko Kavinski. Dot grew up in Clarendon, PA and was a lifelong Warren area resident. She graduated in 1945 from Warren High School where she was her class Valedictorian. She was employed with the former New Process Company. Dorothy was a member of St. Joseph R. C. Church and former member of the former St. Clara’s R.C. Church of Clarendon, PA. She is fondly remembered as a fun loving mom, grandmother, great grandmother. A woman with a strong Catholic devotion, her family was everything to her. She was very witty and proud of her family heritage. She always said she was “No Rockefeller” and “I know this information, I don’t ask for it” most of which she took with her to the grave.

She is survived by her 3 Daughters – Cheryl Rondinelli and husband, Mark of Boiling Springs, PA., Cathy Olsen and husband, Mike of Irvine, PA., Terri Bevevino and husband, Randy of Clarendon, PA., 10 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, Best friend, Mary Walker of Clarendon, PA., several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John E. “Jack” Wykoff who died September 10, 2009 whom she married September 30, 1950 at St. Clara’s R.C. Church, Clarendon, PA., 1 Daughter – Cindy L. Zavinski, her son-in-law, James Zavinski, 6 Brothers – Joseph, John, Stephen, Michael, Charles and Patrick Kavinski, 4 Sisters – Katherine Kavinski, Anna Rossi, Mary D. Bevevino, Julia Albaugh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, PA with Fr. Richard J. Toohey, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
