Dorothy Ann Warr Krogler, 89, a resident of Watson Memorial Home, Warren, Pa. died Monday, October 28, 2019 at her home after an extended illness. She was born July 21, 1930 in Warren, Pa. to the late Tom and Doris Holmes Warr and has resided her entire life in Warren, Pa. She was employed with the former SS. Kresge Co and former Cowdrick’s Drug Store. She retired from the former New Process Co. She was a member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, a former Eucharistic Minister, and member of the church Cursillo Movement and Legion of Mary. She served as a C.C.D. Teacher.
She is survived by 5 Children – Stephanie Freitag and her husband, Bo, Gregory Krogler and wife, Pam, John Krogler, Cathy Gerace, David Krogler and wife, Michelle all of Warren, Pa., 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on January 20, 2015, by her husband, Stephen V. Krogler. Stephen and Dorothy were married on August 26, 1950 in Tidioute, Pa. Also preceding her in death were her sister, Mary Sargeant, and her brothers, George and Arthur Warr.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, Pa. on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 6 to 8 P.M. where a vigil service will be conducted by Fr. Stephen Schreiber, Pastor, and members of the Legion of Mary. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at Holy Redeemer Church, 11 Russell Street, Warren, PA., on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 10:00 A.M.
Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of the Ascension in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery. Those wishing to place memorials may do so through the Holy Redeemer Church Bldg.
