Donna Louise Ponick, 66 of Warren, PA passed away unexpectedly in her home on Friday, November 22, 2019. She was born in Warren, PA., on October 15, 1953 to the late Anthony C. “Tony” and Rose A. Gigliotti Ponick, Sr. She was a lifelong Warren area resident. Donna was a 1973 graduate of Warren Area High School. She was dedicated employee with Blair Corporation, working in both the retail store and call center, until her retirement. She was also a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church. Donna was such a kind, caring person and was like a second mom to her many nieces and nephews. She always sought out to help others and often put the needs of others before her own.
Donna will be genuinely missed by all who were blessed to call her family. She is survived by her twin sister, Diane Farnsworth and husband, Lee of Erie, PA., and brother, Anthony C. “Tony” Ponick, Jr. of Warren, PA., seven nieces and nephews, and eleven great nieces and nephews; all of whom she adored spending time with. She was preceded in death by her sister, Debra Taft, sister-in-law, Sandy Ponick, and great nephews, Noah & Colton Mimm.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 11:00 to 1:00 P.M. when a funeral service will be conducted by Fr. Richard Tomasone, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Center for Organ Recovery & Education (CORE), 204 Sigma Drive- RIDC Park, Pittsburgh, PA 15238.
