Donna J. Brown, 88, of Warren, PA., died peacefully Friday afternoon, December 4, 2020 at Warren General Hospital, Warren, PA., after an extended illness. Donna was born March 2, 1932, in Youngsville, PA. She was the daughter of Clarence and Flossie Swartzfager Jones. She was a lifelong Warren area resident, wintering in Bradenton, FL.
Donna was a 1950 graduate of Youngsville High School. She had been employed with the former New Process Company for 15 years. Donna was a member of Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church and had been an active volunteer with the church sponsored Twice Around Shop. She was a member of the Pleasant Township Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Feather Weights, a social lady’s group.
Donna was an avid reader. She is remembered by her family, as a woman dedicated to her family, she was a great spouse, mother and grandmother, her family was her whole being.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ralph L. Brown whom she married August 28, 1954, in Youngsville, PA., one Son – Robert G. Brown and wife, Natalie, of Warren, PA., one Daughter – Melissa A. Meece and husband, Brad, of Bradenton, FL., three Grandchildren Tyler Lewis, Angela Hughes and Grant Brown and two Great-Grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Chuck Jones. A private family funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
