Donald E. Kibbe, 86, of Warren, PA. died Wednesday morning, May 29, 2024, at Andover Skilled Nursing facility, Andover, Ohio after an extended illness. He was born February 23, 1938, in Rouseville, PA. to the late Francis M. and Mary Corliss Kibbe. He has resided in Warren since 1960 and was a 1957 graduate of West Forest High School and was employed with the former National Forge for 32 1/2 years retiring in 1998 as a press smith.
He was a member of the Warren Moose Lodge 109.
He is survived by his daughter – Briar Lee Lane and her companion, Joseph Ober of Linesville, PA., 5 Grandchildren – Chris and Jamie Lyon, Kole, T.J. (Thad Jacob), Brinna Lane, several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Fedorek Kibbe, whom he married August 8, 1959, in Oil City, PA., who died January 21, 2015, 1 daughter -Nancy Ann Lyon, who died September 22, 2016, 2 Brothers – Marion Kibbe, Lester Kibbe, 3 Sisters – Carol Kibbe, Geraldine Taylor, Barbara Rennecamp. A private celebration of Don’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
