Dolores “Dee” A. Barber Green, 96, of Warren, PA., died Monday morning, December 29, 2025, at Warren General Hospital, Warren, PA., after a brief illness. Dee was born June 3, 1929, in Erie, PA. She was the daughter of Archie and Mary DeMarco Barber. She was a longtime Warren area resident. Dee was a 1947, graduate of Warren High School. She was employed as a data processor with the former Blair New Process Company for 20 years and owned and operated rental properties for 20 years. Dee was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church. She enjoyed gardening especially working with flowers. She was an avid shopper and avid reader.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Johnson of Warren, PA., her two cats, whom she loved, Molly and Missy, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Virgil R. Green whom she married July 28, 1951, who died February 14, 2012, 1 Brother – Charles “Buddy” Barber, 2 Sisters – Rose Mary Hovanic, Shirley Swenko.
A private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of the Ascension in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
