Dianne L. Rogers, 78, of. Warren, PA., died Thursday morning, March 27, 2025, after an extended illness.
Dianne was born November 22, 1946, in Warren, PA. She was the daughter of Richard James and Carmen Carter Drum. She was a lifelong Warren area resident. Diane was a 1964 graduate of Warren High School. She earned her LPN license through the Seneca School of Nursing, Warren, PA., and her Registered Nurses Degree from Jamestown Community College. She also earned her Paralegal Degree with High Honors. Dianne was employed with Warren General Hospital and Warren Manor Nursing Home, working for 25 years. She had formerly been employed with New Process Company and Allegheny Buffalo China. She was a former member of Red Hat Society. She loved to travel, go camping and attend BMX races when her boys were growing up. She enjoyed crocheting and drawing architectural house plans. Dianne was a published writer of poetry, writing the book “Thanks for the memories.” She loved her pets, especially her dogs. Her greatest joys in life was her family. She is remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Dianne is survived by her husband of 58 years, James A. “Jolley” Rogers, whom she married September 24, 1966, in Warren, PA., 3 Sons – James Rogers and wife, Holly, Michael Rogers and wife, Missy, Paul Rogers and companion, Julia, all of Warren, PA., 7 Grandchildren. Sister – Linda Phillips and husband, John, of Warren, PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter – Meghan Rogers.
Friends may call on Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 5 to 7 P.M. at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. A funeral service will be held Monday, March 31, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Michael Rutenber, Pastor of Visitation at First Methodist Church, officiating. I grew up with Dianne and her sister Linda… our fathers were brothers..I also was bridesmaid for Dianne and Jim in 1966.Recently have had visits with them camping at a Lazy Lakes and restaurant visits.. chats on phone always loved !will remember my cousin Dianne always in my heart.
