Debra Jeanne Robeson, of Russell, PA., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the Rouse Home, Youngsville, PA.
Debbie was born January 17, 1937, in Cleveland, OH to Ford and Margaret Baker Gibson. She married Earl S. “Sonny” Robeson on May 5, 1956. They left Cleveland in 1966, to move to a farm in Russell, PA.
Living in the country in a farmhouse was always her dream.
Debbie loved flower gardening, and at one point had 13 flower beds. She enjoyed scrapbooking, quilting, and creating/building dollhouse were all hobbies she loved. She filled her farmhouse with antiques and many collections.
She was a member of Cable Hollow Church, the Hill and Dale Garden Club for many years. Debbie will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Surviving Debbie and cherishing her memory are her four children, Meg Robeson, Ric Robeson and wife, Sutton, Scott Robeson and wife, Lesley, Derek Robeson and companion, Sarah, 4 Grandchildren – Tassie, Ashlee, Brynn, and Nick, 4 Great Grandchildren – Nakita, Nicoli, Knox, and Akley, 1 Sister – Gail Yeager who will keep her memory close, several nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Earl S. Robeson, who died August 29, 2012,
2 Brothers – Don and Gary, her special golden retriever, named Jax who was 14 years old.
Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Rouse Home of Youngsville, PA., for the care, Debbie has received the last 6 months of her life.

Meg, I am saddened to hear of your loss. My mom lived to be about a year longer than yours and passed away about 14 years ago. There is always a gentle happy pain to think of the love you miss when you think of her.

Our family will remember Deb with much fondness. She was a woman of many talents and interests which were always admired.
Sadly we had not seen Deb in many years but she has been thought of often.
