Dean Fazio
Dean J. Fazio, 72, of Warren, PA., died Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Warren Manor Nursing Home, Warren, PA., after a brief illness. He was born July 15, 1952, in Warren, PA. Dean was the son of the late Joseph A. and Katherine McGuckin Fazio. He was a lifelong Warren area resident. Dean was a 1970 graduate of Warren High School. He had served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, from October 26, 1972, to October 25, 1974. He earned a National Defense Service Medal, Marksman Badge, Good Conduct Medal and Sharpshooter Badge. After serving in the service, he was employed as a welder with the former Struthers Wells Corporation, working there for many years, until their closing. He then was employed with SKF Corporation, as a tool crib keeper, retiring from there after 25 years employment. He was on the board of directors of the Warren County Sports Hall of Fame. He was an old muscle car enthusiast, a collector of Buffalo and Indian memorabilia.
Dean is survived by his 2 sons, Joe A. Fazio and his companion, Jodie Lindell, James D. Fazio all of Warren, PA., his sister, Sally Fazio Dettore of Blairsville, PA., granddaughter – Haleigh Fazio. of Warren, PA., former wife, Sherry Fazio of Corry, PA.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. when a funeral and committal service will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Dale Haight, officiating. Full military honors will follow the funeral service by members of the Clarendon/Sheffield V.F.W. and Warren American Legion Post funeral detail and U.S. Army personnel.
