Clarence J. Bauer, 82, of Warren, PA., died peacefully Monday morning, June 24, 2019 at Rouse Warren County Home, Youngsville, PA. Clarence was born February 3, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA. He was the son of the late Clarence and Helen M. Bogush Bauer. He was a Warren area resident since 1955. Clarence graduated in 1955 from the former St. Joseph High School, Mt. Olivar, PA. He was a graduate of Penn State University where he earned a general agriculture degree. He was employed for 23 years, as a cost analyst with the former Struthers Wells Corporation. He was also manager of the Warren County Dairy and purchasing agent for El-Tronics.
Clarence was a member of First Presbyterian Church, where he served on the board of Elders and was a Trustee and Deacon. He was a member of the Free & Accepted Masons Joseph Warren Lodge #726, Zem Zem Shrine, Coudersport Consistory. He served on the board of directors with the Warren Salvation Army, Warren Senior Center, Watson Memorial Home.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elizabeth Confer Bauer whom he married July 24, 1965 in Pleasantville, PA., 1 Son – Kevin Bauer and his wife, Beth, 1 Grandson – Lucas of Hudson, OH., 2 Nieces – Kim Preston of Pleasantville, PA., Robin Mangel of Union City, PA., 2 Great Nieces and 2 Great Nephews.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church Memorial Parlors, 300 Market Street, Warren, PA., A Memorial Service will be conducted in the church proper, following at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Rebecca Taylor, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Pleasantville, PA. Those wishing to place memorials may do so through First Presbyterian Church or Warren Salvation Army, 311 Beech Street, Warren, PA. 16365
