Christopher W. Henry, 57, a longtime resident of Warren, PA, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at the home of his sister, Maria Blume, of Bradford, PA, following a year-long battle with cancer.
Born on June 17, 1958 in Butler, PA, he was the son of William and Kathryn Bearfield Henry. Chris had been employed as an automobile detailer with Warren Midtown Motors and also with Jones Chevrolet. He had served for 10 years with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard and was a member of AMVETS and ABATE. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
Chris is survived by his parents, William and Kathryn Henry of Frewsburg, NY and Lakeland, FL, two sisters, Linda Barger and her husband, Randy, of Newport News, VA, and Maria Blume of Bradford, PA, aunts and uncles; Larry and Judy Bearfield of Florida, Doris Bearfield and Robert Henry of East Brady, PA, nieces – Melissa Becker of Warren, PA, Lisa and Travis White of Newport News, VA, Jenny Blume and her fiancé, Michael Wurst of TX, Lacy Blume of Bradford, PA, and great nephews – Matthew Morrison, Mason Wurst, Clay Trojanowski, and Tavin and Talin White. Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Florence Henry and Thomas and Edna Bearfield, and uncles, John “Pie” Henry and Thomas Bearfield.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service to be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 11, 2016, at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA, with Rev.
