Christine was a wonderful young lady. She was on my Little League baseball team as a fine third baseman. I’ll always remember her sweet smile and her hustle on the field to want to improve all the time. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family who followed her every step of the way. The last time I saw Christine was at the YMCA, as she looked up at me and smiled. RIP Christine!
Dear Mr & Mrs Kintner, Your daughter was an amazing soul. I had the pleasure of spending lovely, fun times with her doing Art with Kim S. We shared many laughs together. So deeply sorry for your loss of such a beautiful young lady!!!
I admired Chris’s artistic talent, her humility and her buoyant spirit. What a sweet woman. She will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your Pam and David Lucks
Chris has been lifted up on Angel’s wings to enter one of His many rooms. God rest her soul. She will be greatly and sadly missed by her Monday painting group. My sincere condolences to all the Kintner family upon loss of their beautiful Christine.
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Christine. I remember from being Cindy’s roommate in college how close they were. I know that she was truly loved by her family. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
Chris gifted all that knew her with her humble and giving demeanor and attitude. Mere words cannot describe how inspiring she was to others on a daily basis. Despite battling continual and debilitating health issues, Chris was only eager to converse about her latest projects or something she had recently learned. Chris always took the time to listen to what was happening in our lives; another of her strengths. Thank you for so many memories that we will treasure; our lovely (first on the tree) Christmas ornaments, our beautiful sunset watercolor painting, our collection of beautifully painted cards, sharing your knowledge of flowers (perennials) and most of all…..your beautiful smile. Fly high and pain free Chris.
My deepest sympathy to your family. I only had the pleasure of knowing her for a few years at Bournes Beach but she always had that wonderful smile and so pleasant to talk to. My prayers are with you all.
Chris and I were friends in junior high, both of us being “tall girls,” and so were often sitting in the back row in class. I always admired her kind spirit and she had a warm smile, whenever we would meet, throughout the rest of our junior. high and high school years, as part of the WAHS Class of 1984. Though we had not seen each other in many, many years, I had heard about her health challenges and saw the feature on her in the Warren paper. She handled it all with such grace, dignity, and her ever-amazing spirit. I extend my most heartfelt condolences to her entire family during this time. While we mourn her passing from this earthly realm, I know the angels are rejoicing, for she is among them now. Wishing you peace and comfort during this time, and always.
Carolyn…. I was so sorry to read of Chris’ passing. I know she didn’t have an easy life, but she definitely made the most of it, with you always by her side. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts at this sad time. May you find peace.
I had the pleasure of meeting Chris in Harmarville Rehabilitation Center in 1985 and then we began writing and visiting each other. We shared alot of nice times together at breakfast with a bowl of cheerios or in the gym learning how to use our artificial limbs or talking about how we both had cancer and we were going to kick cancers ass ❤️. I am so sorry for your loss . I hope she is the one waiting for me at the gates.
