Catherine V. Babcock Dangelo, 89, of Warren, PA., died Thursday morning, September 9, 2021, at the John & Orpha Blair Hospice Home, Warren, PA. She was born August 29, 1932, in Warren, Pa. Catherine was the daughter of Ernest Calvin and Eva Adelaide Rogers Babcock. She was a lifelong Warren area resident. She had graduated in 1950 from Warren High School and earned her license as a Beautician on November 20, 1953. In June 1974, she graduated from the Jamestown School of Practical Nursing. She had been employed with numerous nursing homes including the Watson Memorial Home and Kane Lutheran Home. She was a member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church. She had sold Avon. Catherine enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting and was a cat lover.

She is survived by her three children – Daniel J. Dangelo and wife, Starla of Milton, FL., David M. Dangelo and his significant other, LeeAnn Baird, Leslie K. McGary all of Warren, PA., 2 Grandchildren – Douglas Dangelo and wife, Kristine of Pace, FL., Andrea Watson and husband, Damian of Springhill, FL., 3 Great Grandchildren – Kamryn and Landon Dangelo of Pace, FL., Elliott Watson of Springhill, FL., 1 Brother-in-law, Charles Dangelo of Kane, PA., several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Joseph J. Dangelo who died March 3, 2013, whom she married May 1, 1954, at Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, Warren, PA., 2 Sisters – Anna Marie Henry, Beverly Jean Gorton, her son-in-law, Allen McGary, 1 Sister-in-law, Marjorie Dangelo, Father and Mother-in-law – Alex A. and Grace M. Dangelo, 1 nephew – Jodi Gorton.

Friends may call at Holy Redeemer R.C. Church gathering space, 11 Russell Street, Warren, PA., on Monday, September 13, 2021, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. with Fr. Stephen Schreiber, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
