Carol Turk, 85, passed away, Wednesday, April 17, 2024, gently at home, surrounded by her family, after an extended battle with cancer. Carol was born in Guys Mills, PA., to Walter and Helen Smith. She graduated from Titusville High School. On October 26, 1962, Carol married her best friend, Glenn, during a blizzard. In 1974, Glenn and Carol moved to their beloved Tur-Crest Farm in Warren, where they worked side by side raising prized purebred Charolais cattle. Carol’s favorite place, other than home was camping and volunteering at the Warren County Fair. For 18 years, Carol was a floral designer at Ekey’s Florist.
Carol is survived by her Son and Daughter-in-law, Lee and Melissa Turk, Daughter, Lisa Turk, Granddaughter Cayla Hoffman and her fiancé Tim Munksgard and Great Granddaughter, Alivia, all of Warren. Carol is also survived by her Brother and Sister-in-law Charles and Ruth Smith of Hydetown, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her. Parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Glenn.
A Celebration of Life for Carol and Glenn will be held at Hessel Valley Lutheran Church, 166 Hessel Valley Road, Chandlers Valley, PA. 16312, on Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 2 to 4 PM
In lieu of flowers, memorials commemorating Carol’s life may be made to Hessel Valley Lutheran Church. The family would like to extend heartfelt love and gratitude to the angels at the Warren Cancer Center and Hospice of Warren County.
