Carol Elaine Irvine, 55, of Warren, PA. died at her residence on Friday morning, March 7, 2014 after a 10 month illness. She was born September 6, 1958 in Ridgway, PA. She was the daughter of Ruth Jordan Marrone of Johnsonburg, PA. and the late Robert F. Marrone. Carol was a Warren area resident since 1966 and was a 1976 graduate of Warren High School. She earned her degree as a registered nurse from the Jamestown Community College School of Nursing, and later earned her degree as a Nurse Practitioner from Clarion University. She had been employed with Warren General Hospital for 35 years and the last 3 years with the doctor’s office of Dr. Jay Endres. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Warren Lodge #109, She enjoyed playing the slot machines at Seneca Allegany Casino. She truly enjoyed her extended family, her friends whom she worked with in the Warren General Critical Care Unit. She was an avid camper, spending time at her Uncle Louie’s Camp, camping at Penn Highlands and most recently camping at their camp on Route 337. She enjoyed cooking and eating crabs with her brother in Atlantic City, N.J.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her longtime companion and caregiver, Alan R. Kiser of Warren, PA., 1 Son – Robert J. Irvine Marrone of Warren, PA., her adopted children – Ashley, Valerie, Jennifer and Garrett Kiser, 4 Sisters – Shirley Luby and husband, Thomas of Tonawanda, N.Y., Joyce DeVallance and husband, Bob, Elizabeth Fitch and husband, Walter all of Johnsonburg, PA., Angela Sloan of Marion, S.C., Grandchildren – Gabriel Irvine of Warren, PA., Chloe Irvine of Junction City, KA., Madison, Ethan and Carson Kent, Gavin Siffin all of Warren, PA., several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother – Donald Cicuzza, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, 11 Russell Street, Warren, PA. Fr. James Gutting, Pastor, officiating. My deepest sympathy to Carol’s family. She was just the best! She was a wonderful professional and made a strong impact in improving the lives of her patients. Above all, she loved her family and was so proud of them. All of our lives are better for knowing her and we are saddened by her passing. She will always be in my heart, remembering all of her very special ways.
