Bonita “Bonnie” M. Casey, 74, of Warren, PA, passed away, Tuesday morning, October 4, 2022, at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice Home Warren.
She was born in New Brighton, PA, Beaver County, on May 7, 1948, the daughter of the late Richard and Ora Long. Bonnie grew up in South Beaver, PA and attended Swickley Valley Nursing School. After Nursing School, she moved to Warren and spent the next 53 years in this area. Bonnie worked as a Registered Nurse at Warren General Hospital and later as a Home Health Care nurse and was later the patient care coordinator for Hospice of Warren County for approximately 15 years.
She was member of First United Methodist Church, Warren. Bonnie enjoyed Saturday Night Dance Club and was a member of the Circle Eight Square Dance Club, avid Quilter, enjoyed baking and being in the kitchen, loved playing games, and hosting family and friends for parties and holidays. Bonnie was a person who valued hospitality and taking care of others. She was always showing care and compassion for her family, friends, and patients.
Bonnie married her loving husband Brent Casey on September 13, 1969, in New Galilee, PA, and he survives her. In addition to her husband she is survived by her 3 loving children Missy Berardi and husband Tom of Warren, PA; Bill Casey and wife Sherri of Grand Haven, MI; and Rick Casey and wife Hollie, of Townville, PA; six grandchildren Max and Charlie Casey, Simion and Solomon Casey, and Molly and Emma Berardi; siblings Robert and Rose Ann Long, Barbara and Don Andrick(deceased), all of Darlington, PA, and Cheryl and William Hammer of Beaver Falls, PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Charles Long and Bruce Long.
Friends may call the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, 304 East St. Warren, PA on Friday October 7, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Additional viewing will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 8, 2022, in the First United Methodist Church, 200 Market St., Warren, PA., where funeral services will follow there at 1:00 pm., with the Rev.
