Bill C. Eckman, 78, of Sugar Grove, PA., died unexpectedly
Saturday evening, September 10, 2016 at the Pennsylvania
Soldiers and Sailors Home, Erie, PA. He was born January 18,
1938 in Sheffield, PA. Bill was the son of Harry E. and Pearl
Anderson Eckman. He was a lifelong Sheffield and Warren area
resident. Bill was a 1956 graduate of Sheffield High School and
had served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War as a Staff
Sergeant. He was employed with Huber’s Black Top as a truck
driver for many years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed
Nascar Racing. Bill will always be remembered for his incredible
sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife, Tracy Walton Eckman whom he
married March 20, 1993 in Busti, N.Y.
2 Daughters – Joye L. Eckman of Sugar Grove, Pa., Jill Morley and
husband, Jerry of Warren, Pa., 1 Son – Dan Eckman and wife,
Maureen of West Middlesex, PA., 5 Granddaughters and 2 Great
Grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Lee
Eckman and 1 Brother – Jim Eckman.
A private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of

Dear Jim, Sorry to hear of your brother. I remember being at my aunts house when you lived next door. Really hard to go back that far. We missed you at the reunions. Paul Caldwell took over and they were done well.. We have been in FL for 27 years. I wonder where you are now.
