Barttlett R. “Bart” Foster, 75, of Warren, PA, died peacefully at home on Sunday May 21, 2023, with his family at his side.
He was born on November 28, 1947, in Union City, Indiana, the son of the late Sherman and Vivian (Merritt) Foster. Bart lived in many places and had some interesting jobs before settling in Warren, PA. He drove ambulance for North Warren Fire Department in the past. He worked at the former Loranger’s Manufacturing and Experience Inc.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, bowling, darts and playing spoons. He got many requests from people to play the spoons for them. Bart was the life of the party and is loved and will be missed by many. He had the kindest heart.
Bart is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Foster of Warren, PA; his children, Melanie Foster of Warren, PA, and Bart Foster Jr. of South Carolina; stepsons, Jason Stewart and wife Kim of Warren, PA, and Shawn Stewart and wife Brenda of Virginia; grandsons, Garret Littlefield, Geoff Stewart Ryan Stewart, and Jack Stewart; granddaughter, Jennifer Stewart; two great granddaughters; siblings, Nancy Elliot of Ohio and Sherman (Butch) Foster of Georgia; sister in law, Cheryl Kitchel; and two brother in laws, Ronald and Robert Kitchel.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Richard (Dick) Collins.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. A celebration of Bart’s Life will be announced and held at a later date. I am sorry to hear of Bart’s passing. I worked with him at Lorangers for years. He told interesting stories of the places he had been and things he’s seen. My favorite memory of Bart was him break dancing at a Loranger Christmas Party. He rocked it! My condolences to his family.
