Barbara J. Cook, 84, of N. Warren, PA., died Tuesday, June 28,

2016 at St. Vincent Health Care Center, Erie, PA., after an

extended illness. She was born June 21, 1932 in Warren, PA., and

was the daughter of Charles W. and Mina C. Stoddard Reist. Barb

was a lifelong Warren area resident and a 1950 graduate of

Warren High School. She was formerly employed with New

Process Company and with the former Simones and Cook, Inc.

She was an avid crafter, enjoyed crocheting, decorating for

holidays. Her greatest joy in life was being a wife, mother and

grandmother.

Barb is survived by her husband of 62 years, Richard A. Cook

whom she married October 19, 1953 in Warren, PA.

2 Children – Richard A. Cook, Jr. and wife, Barbara A.

of Warren, PA., Karin L. Cook of N. Warren, PA., 1 Brother –

Albert L. Reist and wife, Dorothy, 1 Sister – Mary Chapel all of

Warren, PA., 3 Granddaughters – Amber Orcutt, Mayan Cook,

Katie Labarr, 4 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2

Brothers – Richard H. and Robert C. Reist, 1 Sister – Rose A. Reist,

2 infant sisters and 1 infant brother.

A private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of

the family at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev.

Marcus Briggs, Chaplain of the Warren General Hospital,

officiating.

Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, PA.
